How big a room can this space heater warm?
It's made for small spaces: a desk area, bathroom, bedside or dorm room. For a large open living room, a higher-wattage floor heater is a better fit.
How much does it cost to run a 500-watt space heater?
It uses 0.5 kWh per hour. At 17¢ per kWh that's about 8½¢ an hour or 68¢ for 8 hours. Multiply 0.5 by your own rate for your exact cost.
What temperatures can I set?
Any temperature from 60°F to 90°F (15°C to 32°C). The heater turns itself on and off to hold the setting.
How does the timer work?
Set an auto-on or auto-off time from 1 to 12 hours in 1-hour steps, so it can warm the room before you wake up or switch off after you fall asleep.
Does it come with a remote?
